Biathalon...xc ski/fat bike

Spent a few hours away from the hunting shack to get some training in....getting ready for the Tuscobia Ultra. Would prefer to xc-ski it, but if conditions warrant it, will use the fat bike.

First tracks.
View from Hill of Beans, fueling up between skiing and biking.

Looking back at Hill of Beans from across the lake.

Looking at High Point Village/Hill of Beans.
Looking down from the Tower at Timm's Hill.

 Last Track.

2012 Fall mtn. bike riding

Compilation of a few different trails over the past couple of weeks.
River Trail, Milwakee, WI. Not bad for an Urban City ride.

Brown Trout. Fall run up the Milwaukee River from Lake Michigan.

Petrified Springs, Racine, WI. Nice trail. Flowing and fast.

 Bring your sticks!
 Fall colors.
Small drop....still too much for me and my hardtail, though.
Backs up to UW Parkside campus. Lots of rogue stuff.

Some shots from my son, Nick. Timm's Hill, WI, highest point in the State.
