Stopped and picked up some fresh fruit at one of the many roadside stands, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and cherries. Also picked up some local buckwheat honey...curious as to how it tastes.
Then got into Seaside and rented a tandem. Lynn and I rode around for 2 hours, found a motel, had a great dinner of local seafood and went to the fireworks on the beach.
Ate at an unbelievable local seafood place...I had the oysters and razors lightly pan fried, Lynn had the crab (dungeness) melt. They don't serve beer/wine.....but if we just happened to eat outside on the picnic tables and if we just happened to have our own beer (what Wisconsinite worth his/her salt doesn't have a cold beer ready to go in case of an emergency?) we could enjoy our dinner with whatever we had on hand....PERFECT!
