Bend, OR 2017

Flew out to Bend with Lynn to catch up with son and DIL, Chris and Helen. Caught a few rides before and after our week in the San Juan Islands.
Went out for a ride with Chris on the trails near Mt. Bachelor then headed back to town.
Started on the Swampy Lakes Loop then connected with South Fork to Tumalo Falls, up North Fork to Mrazek. Around 40 miles.

A xc ski cabin Chris helped out with near Swampy.

 

A stove that could heat a building 4 times the size of the cabin.

At Tumalo Falls, then up the North Fork along Tumalo Creek.

Piece of logging equipment that was torched....it was made in Prentice, WI, where my Father worked when I was a kid and where I went to school for 10 years. I still own some hunting land there.

A good day riding, now off for some beer!
