Ireland biking, 2018

Rode a number of times while in Ireland and Scotland.
Rode through Edinburgh to the neighboring Highlands. Can't seem to locate the pics, though, except for this one. On the way out took city streets. Out on the ride I met a guy that directed me to a bike path that took me all the way through the city using streets, tunnels and bridges to only have to cross maybe 2 roads. Nice!

Dublin City Tour with Lynn.

I rented bikes in number of towns for 2-5 hr country rides. Ruins everywhere one turns around....or bikes around.
Example:

Rail to trail from Westport to Achill Island and back was especially nice.

Ballast to keep the ocean winds from blowing it over.

Crossed the bridge to the island. Nice peat (turf) fire. Hand a nice lunch here with a Guinness of course.
Croughpatrick fogged in. I climbed it later on. Kind of must do while in Ireland.

Rostrevor in Northern Ireland. Got talked into trying out an E-bike. It was interesting.

Ballyhoura, south of Limerick, Ireland.

never hurts to say a prayer before one heads out
