Duluth, MN Singletrack

Working this week up in Duluth, MN so riding the trails here, again.

Seems every time I come up here there is progress. COGGS, Cyclists of Gitchee Gumee Shores, is doing some great work up here. With the amount of trails in the city limits and the goal of tying many of them together to form a 20-30-40 mile epic ride, a decent sized airport with great convention facilities, this city of 90,000 or so counting Superier, WI is getting to be a great destination mountain bike area, for the whole family.

Add to that, the CAMBA trails being less than 2 hrs. away (a very scenic 2 hrs, I might add) this is a great place to be a mt biker, or go to be one.

I would think that in the not too distant future, it will be in contention for something like the IMBA World Summit.

From the newly sanctioned Lester-Amity trails.

A view from the Harley Park trail.

The views of Lake Superior while riding are great, as well.
